Art is my driving force in life.   It's the energy that keeps me going.  I work a 9 to 5 job in the public sector and it can really do my head in sometimes, so I'm glad I've got art to escape into.  Many people tell me that I'm talented and that my illustrations are good, and I appreciate that, but it's not talent; it's hard work and dedication.  The drawings I did a few years ago don't compare to what I'm doing now, and that's because you have to work hard to get better and to get stronger.  Naruto Uzumaki taught me that.

I don't have any formal training in art and design, but I've always had a keen interest in the subject and a real reverence for accomplished artists.  My medium is ink, and my major influences would be Japanese Manga, vintage storybook illustration, and the light and shadow styles of classic horror comics.
